Out of/Inside Cell Rebel Day - REDs may not be outside or inside of cells, respectively.
Lava Day - REDs may not be on the floor of the map and must be on something higher.
  • By default, beds and windows count as structures above the floor. Warden may choose to allow other structures pending this won't violate rules.

  • May not be initiated outside of warden being killed or LR.
  • BLUs are unable to bait.
  • Last Guard still applies.
  • Must be played to completion.

Pokemon Day is a day where REDs and BLU melee fight each other in a systematic 1v1 duel to either team's death. Trainers on both teams pick fighters.
  • Pokemon Day can only be chosen through custom LR.
  • Warden is automatically BLU team's trainer and must ask a question relating to TF2/math to pick who gets to be the trainer for RED, unless someone has picked themselves as the trainer for LR.
    • You may not pick anyone else but yourself as the trainer when you get LR.
    • Trainers may not pick themselves as a Pokemon until they are the last team member. (Excluding Freedays.)
    • Trainers are the only ones who choose Pokemon.

  • No LR.
  • Must be played until completion.
Hide and Seek
BLUs stay in the armory for a minimum of 90 seconds, during which REDs hide. After 90 seconds, BLUs hunt and kill the REDs.
  • Must be started at the beginning of the round and completed if intiated.
  • LR is given to the last RED.
  • If 2 or more REDs are hiding in the same spot and are the last REDs, they are both KOS.

The Purge is an LR only game where FF is turned on, everyone is stripped to melee, and becomes a free for all.
  • You may not delay as the last alive players.
  • Warden is not allowed.
  • Does not count towards the FF limit.

Banned Days/Games
These days/games break a rule/are game breaking and, as such, should not be used.

    • Cell Wars is an exception to this permitting REDs are in their respective spawn cells.

  • Trust Fund - If one RED rebels, other REDs are KOS as a result.
  • Armoury Tour - Self explanatory.

General Jail Rules
  1. Deliberately spreading false info about the game/rules is against the rules.
  2. BLUs may not freehit/freekill.
  3. Nobody may impersonate the warden.
  4. Outside of Death Request and LRs such as Rapid Rockets Day, BLUs may not teamkill.
  5. The same minigame may not be run three times in a row.
  6. REDs may hit and kill baiters, they may not chase them.
  7. Doing any of the following will result in a RED being KOS, provided BLUs witnessing it:
    • Entering Armory/secret ammo spots.
    • Being on/at the Armory doorway.
    • Assisting rebellers as Medic.
    • Leaving cells via any method at the beginning of the round before there is any order to go somewhere other than your cell. (This does not apply on Freedays.)
  8. If the warden has not given orders before the doors have opened, it's a Freeday.
  9. Upon warden death, it will be a Freeday, unless a guard has taken his/her place after their death.
  10. Ghosting is forbidden. This means a dead person giving any info away or influencing the game in anyway.
  11. Rebels can be pardoned (save it not being favoritism/last RED).
    1. They are automatically pardoned if it went away and no one saw them kill or hit the guard.
    2. Freedays, however, are not eligible for LR or Death Request under any circumstance.
  12. No hiding in areas you cannot be found, e.g secret rooms that only work once or team-restricted areas.
  13. Do not delay or stall the round.
  14. Do not abuse any exploits/glitches, instead notify any of the admins or make a thread on the forum.
  15. If you leave the cells via any method before the cells open, you are automatically KOS.
  16. You must be AFK to ask for a repeat, and remain AFK for the entirety of that repeat.
  17. You must use the '!r' command to ask for a repeat.
  18. You are always allowed to ask for a repeat, even if it means postponing a current order. (For example typing !r whilst crouch walking.)
  19. Only staff may do Mic Checks.
  20. Do not use !fire unless the warden is breaking rules

Warden Rules
  1. The warden must have a tolerable/satisfactory microphone for others to hear clearly.
  2. Commands only apply if said through voice-chat.
  3. Warden isn't allowed on freedays.
  4. FF such as Cell Wars is permitted but can only be used every 3 days.
  5. The warden cannot give an order to kill another guard.
  6. The warden cannot give orders which force the death of a RED. For example, "run into the sawblade.”
  7. The warden cannot give impossible orders, trick orders are allowed.
  8. The warden cannot lie.
  9. The warden must give one repeat per order, unless a RED doesn't request it.
    1. Warden does not need to specify if days are active outside of repeats.
  10. The warden is considered baiting if close enough to a RED.
  11. Do not be AFK, doing this can delay the round.
  12. A warden's order is overwritten by new orders if they contradict each other, the exception to this being if the order is a day.
  13. Orders with multiple negatives are not permitted.
  14. Warden hogging is forbidden. All BLUs must be given a chance to go warden.
  15. You may not force Freedays (e.g. by opening the cell doors before giving orders).
  16. The last standing warden may choose if he wants to kill all RED team players or if he wants to finish the round without killing every RED team player.
    1. However once he picks one, he is committed to it. You must also !uw in the case that you plan to kill all.
  17. Giving orders targeting classes is not allowed (this includes class-restricting LRs).
  18. !wslay is an ability given to the warden to slay rule-breakers. Slaying guards who are not rule-breaking is strictly prohibited. Guards may not be slain for offenses done in previous rounds with the exception of repeated mass freekillers.
    • Staff may allow/disallow vote-slaying when they are online at their discretion.
  19. Warden may not rename REDs to words similar in pronunciation (e.g. "breads," "beds," "ribs," etc.). / Similarly, the warden may not use these words as part of a trick order.
  20. Orders/days that force taunts are not allowed. (RPS for LR is an exception to this.)

Guard Rules
  1. Last guard rule: the last guard is allowed to massacre the remaining reds, or choose to continue the round. However, if the massacre has started then no LR can be issued. Last guard is not the same as only guard either, one guard must have died for it to be considered Last guard.
  2. Guards must listen to the warden at all times.
  3. Guards must not roam and play mini-games as they please unless the warden states they can or they are searching for a rebel.
  4. Opening the doors before the round has started will result in a team ban. Guards need warden's permission to open cells.
  5. Throwing/hitting Mad Milk, Jarate or any other sources that don't damage the reds are considered freehitting.
  6. Guards must have a tolerable/satisfactory microphone for others to hear clearly.
  7. The exception to this being if the guard team needs filling and there are no mics available to do so.
  8. Stickybombs are disallowed outside of jumping or in response to being attacked by rebels (No sticky trapping.)
  9. BLUs may not turn on/off gravity on SpaceJail without warden's permission.
  10. BLUs cannot medic or armory camp.
  11. BLUs may not kill REDs with map exploits such as doors, in the case of accidents the BLU should slay themselves.
  12. BLUs can only reset traps if Deathrun is being done a second time.

A freeday will be considered KOS if they do the following listed.
  1. Block paths or block doorways preventing guards from entering somewhere after purposely being asked to move.
  2. Press any mini-game buttons if they are active.
  3. Healing a rebeller.
  4. Enter the armory.
  5. Attack a guard.

Last Requests
  1. You may not require a RED to finish any order/minigame to get LR. It should be given as soon as they are the last RED, provided they haven't rebelled. Mini-games/Days that depend on voting/judging are an exception to this rule, (i.e. Club Glod and Diner,) as the last RED must earn their LR.
  2. Once LR is given, the RED does not need to follow Warden's orders.
    • Death Request is mandatory.
    • Death Request includes any commands given by the recipient (he/she is not limited to one command).
    • However, after 90 seconds, the RED may be killed.
    • You may not attack nor kill the LR/Death Request recipient unless given specific permission by him/her. It is free-hit/killing to do so.
    • You may not delay or otherwise deny doing a Death Request.
      • If no Death Request is stated, but the recipient is attacking a BLU, the BLU must let the RED kill them.
  3. REDs cannot be given DR, LR, or pardoned when they are the last rebelling RED.
  1. Baiting is when a BLU gets into melee range of a RED, when a Heavy revs their mini-gun at REDs, or when a Sniper scopes on or near a RED.
  2. REDs are not allowed to chase baiters. This means when hitting a baiter in your melee range, you are not allowed to follow the baiter to attempt the hit the baiter more.
  3. Guards entering RED-only areas such as RED Deathrun are baiting and may be killed while they are inside.
  4. Guards entering a RED cell are also baiting and a RED may hit them to remove them, including during days such as lava day.

Favouritism is described as giving particular players an advantage or putting players at a disadvantage. Favouritism is strictly forbidden.
  1. Only staff can define what favouritism is.
  2. Some common examples include:
    1. Allowing a RED to rebel because they are your friend/you like them.
    2. Killing a RED and not another for doing the same thing.
    3. Pardoning one RED but not another for doing the same thing. (In this case kill them all or pardon all.)
These are a set of precedents which must be followed when interpreting rules.

  1. A RED is not a rebel if they win a game of RPS against a guard.
    1. Similarly, a BLU winning RPS is not Freekilling.
  2. Sprayed lines are not considered lines, therefore going to a sprayed line may make you KOS.
  3. If warden says the line in front of cells, it is considered to be the first line in front of cells ergo the closest one.
  4. Standing in a cell door is not considered out of cell.
  5. In the Chretien map, BLUs may camp the BLU spawn as it is not armoury, any RED entering is KOS.
    1. Any RED passing metal detectors is also KOS.
  6. The last wardens order contradicts all previous orders, except for days. Days can only be overridden if told they no longer apply.
  7. Reds must be allowed some method of communications, therefore you cannot forbid them from speaking both in chat and in voice-chat.
    1. Similarly, you cannot tell them to crouch the whole day therefore meaning they can't chat and order them to not speak on mic.
    2. During activities that require significant use of your keyboards (crouch day, jump day, etc.), REDs must be allowed the use of their mics
  8. It's assumed when you are ordered to head to a warden marker that you are required to go to further markers until told otherwise.
  9. The only exception to the ghosting rule is when a RED or BLU is excessively delaying the round (either not actively rebelling when the last non-rebelling RED is ready to receive LR or when a guard is hiding as last guard), and no staff are on to remedy the situation.
  10. Orders such as whoever Jumps first gets LR are banned.
